BSI seeks statistics experts

BRITISH Standards Institution is seeking statistics experts to participate in development of standards with other representatives from industry/academia.

The areas in which expertise is needed are:

SS/1 - Statistical Terminology and Symbols SS/2 - Statistical Interpretation of Data SS/3 - Application of Statistical Methods in Standardisation;

SS/4 - Statistical Process Control SS/5 - Acceptance Sampling Schemes SS/6 - Precision of Test Methods SS/7 - General Methodology, Quantities, Units and Symbols.

The commitment requires attendance at two meetings of the specific committee a year at the BSI, London W4, to discuss projects in the relevant areas and to comment on various stages of work.
