British Construction Industry Awards shortlist

Channel Tunnel Rail Link, Emirates Stadium, M60 widening and Kings Cross St Pancras Underground go head to head
Channel Tunnel Rail Link Section 2 will battle it out with Emirates Stadium, M60 widening and Kings Cross St Pancras Underground redevelopment for the British Construction Industry Awards' Major Project Award.The shortlist announced this week also pits Dunheved Bridge A30 Launceston; Clevleys Coast Protection Scheme; Eton College Rowing Centre; Lower Witham Flood Defence Scheme and RNLI Padstow Lifeboat Station against each other for the civil engineering award. M60 Widening, and Kings Cross St Pancras Underground will go up against Dunheved Bridge, Clevleys Coast Protection Scheme and Lower Witham Flood Defence Scheme, and 12 other projects shortlisted in other categories for the Prime Minister's Better Public Building Award.The awards, that were judged by a panel that includes ICE President Quentin Leiper and NCE editor Antony Oliver will be presented on 10 October.
