Come on, NCE, this is certainly not the world's highest bridge, and I very much doubt it is the tallest, based on drawings available on the net. The distance from deck to valley floor is (considerably) exceeded by the Siduhe River Bridge in China.

I find it hard to believe this bridge was really the first in the UK to be designed to Eurocodes. It's certainly not the first bridge *erected* in the UK to have been designed to Eurocodes, as Fort Amherst Footbridge in Kent was erected on 31st January. I can't believe there aren't others.
