Boscastle bonus

ICE news

ICE's south west association donated profits from a seminar on the Boscastle floods to the North Cornwall Flood Relief fund last month.

The joint ICE, Institute of Highway Incorporated Engineers and Institution of Highways & Transportation seminar, 'Boscastle - Ravaged, Rescued, Repaired' was held in May and raised £1614.

ICE council member and Cornwall County Council highways maintenance area manager Teresa Frost helped organise the seminar and led the postflood roads clear up. She said: 'The seminar was a great place for the ICE to carry out its core business - disseminating knowledge and information'.
