On the basis of Bob McKittrick's comments I presume that we will soon see a significant reduction in the large number of structural engineers who claim to be geotechnical experts but have no appropriate qualification.

Or perhaps they too will return to the exam table! Mr McKittrick's observations are at best provocative, at worst divisive.
