Block buster

Formpave has introduced a new Aquaflow block for use with its storm- water source control system. The system was recently selected by the Design Council as a millennium product. The Aquaflow block has a unique taper shape with vertical drainage channels, and complies with BS6717 Part 1. The block allows rainfall to pass from the surface into a specially designed subbase at a rate of approximately 4.5m/h.

The stormwater source control system prevents run-off or surface ponding and traps pollutants such as oil, rubber, dust and heavy metals.
