The Highways Agency has awarded contractor Birse Civils the £2M A52 Bramcote to Queen’s Medical Centre Capacity Improvements contract.
The £2M contract is to install new signalling on two roundabouts for infrastructure works within Nottingham, to relieve heavy delays during peak times on the A52 Derby Road Corridor. It also includes modifications to six road junctions along the carriageway as well as signalling, paving, earthworks and drainage works.
The scheme is scheduled for completion in winter 2011.
