Birmingham plans unveiled

MORE THAN 100 people attended the recent ICE evening meeting on the exciting changes proposed for Birmingham's city centre. They heard a trio of speakers describe the dramatic changes that are planned over the next 10 years to England's second largest city.

Geoff Wright and Colin Eastman from Birmingham City Council's Planning and Transportation Departments, and Neil Crawley from Benoys Architects - working for the Bull Ring Birmingham Alliance - treated the audience to an exciting 21st century vision of the European city of the future, featuring city squares, metros , street cafes and restaurants.
