Biblioteca Alexandrina

Two thousand years ago the original was said to contain all the knowledge in the world. When it was destroyed manuscripts of priceless importance disappeared forever.

Now the new Biblioteca Alexandrina is intended to be as great a building and repository of knowledge as the one that was lost.
