BGA wants more member information on next CD

THE BRITISH Geotechnical Association wants to increase the information on its 2005-06 Members CD.

The 2004-05 CD, distributed with GE earlier this year, includes a list of the contact details of BGA members who had given written approval in 2003 and 2004. For the remainder of the membership the list was restricted to surname and initials only to comply with the Data Protection Act.

Members should check their details by visiting the members' area on www. ice. org. uk at My ICE and follow the instructions. If they want to be included on next year's CD, they should ' ll in and sign the form included with this issue and return it to Gavin Bowyer at the BGA.

If members' have previously given permission, their details will be included again unless they ask to be removed.

For details, queries and permission forms, contact Gavin Bowyer, BGA, ICE, 1 Great George Street, London SW1P 3AA; tel: tel: 0207 665 2233; email: bga@ice. org. uk
