Better formwork, better concrete

Formwork specialist PERI has invested £250,000 in a preassembly fabrication capability at its Rugby HQ. Much of the investment has gone on the installation of an Attendorf F45 flat saw bed. This should provide very accurate cutting of plywood sheets to ensure a grout-tight finish to the completed formwork.

Peri says that pre-assembling formwork under factory conditions produces much higher quality which eventually leads to improved concrete surface finishes.
