BCI Awards entry deadline extended

The best of British civil engineering and building projects still have time to put forward entries to the 2013 British Construction Industry Awards (BCIA) ahead of the deadline which has been extended to 28 March.

Entries are sought across a range of project categories and specialist subcategories to recognise delivery excellence across design, management, construction and supply chain engagement, innovation in building information modelling and for the best new products.

Once again the best of the best will be identified following a rigorous process of judging visits and the winners, including the coveted Prime Minister’s Award for Better Public Building, announced at a gala celebration evening in October.

New categories for 2013 include awards for health and safety excellence, sustainability leadership and the ICE President’s Award for innovative skills.

BCIA has also created a Leader of Tomorrow award, a new category launched with the Association for Consulting and Engineering to celebrate its centenary year.

Details of all categories and the criteria for entry can be found on line at Entry deadline is 28 March 2013.
