BB hand Piccadilly line extension over to T5

Balfour Beatty have completed their work on the extansion of the Piccadilly Line to Heathrow Terminal 5.
The new track and station are ready for the opening of the new terminal in March 2008. London Underfround contractor Tube Lines delivered the first test tube train to the platform last week.London Underground will now begin trial operations, involving the running of trains and driver training on the line.BAA's £4.3 billion T5 project will open in March 2008 and be complete in 2010. It will handle some 30M passengers a year.
