Bauma to get bigger

The organiser of triennial construction equipment exhibition Bauma has said that the 2013 event that will run between 15 and 21 April will be bigger than ever, ensuring the event in Germany retains its title as the biggest exhibition in the work.

Messe München says the show area at its Munich site has been increased by 20,000m2 to cover 570,000m2 with 180,000m2 of the exhibition under cover in the halls.

“Despite the current economic climate, demand for exhibition space at the event is strong and we need a further 30,000m2 of space to match what we’re being asked for,” says Messe München senior executive officer Wolf-Dietrich Müller. “This demand demonstrates how important Bauma is to the construction equipment industry - many companies plan their innovation cycle to ensure they can launch their newest machines at the show.”
