Bauer wins two Crossrail contracts

Foundation specialists Bauer has been awarded two Crossrail contracts for Liverpool Street Advanced Station Works and Whitechapel Station Advanced Works.

The Liverpool Street Advanced Station Works will see Bauer perform diaphragm walling, as well as the extremely complex task of removing a number of large diameter existing piles.

In addition Bauer will be installing a number of geothermal energy loops to the cages of the diaphragm wall and all in an extremely tight working space. The work is expected to take 8 months to complete.

On the Whitechapel Station Advanced Works contract Bauer will be installing a diaphragm wall for the circular Cambridge Heath shaft and diaphragm wall, plus the removal of existing large diameter piles at the Durward Street shaft. Works will take about seven months to complete.
