Bank has approve grant

Bank has approved a grant of $2.2M for a project aimed at reducing poverty in Cambodia. The three year scheme will support the development of small-scale contractors as well as providing funding for the maintenance of 600km of roads. 'The project is expected to reduce poverty by 5-10% in areas where the roads are maintained and generate about 18,800 jobs, ' said ADB transport economist Peter Broch.
