Banbury car park

The Banbury car park diagnosed as likely to suffer punch and shear collapse is due to re-open by Christmas. It was thought demolition was the only option for the lift slab structure after cracking around column heads, and chloride contamination were discovered (NCE 25 June 1997). But a DBFO consortium headed by Meteor Parking has carried out a pounds1.4M repair.
