Balfour Beatty

Balfour Beatty Civil Engineering has been fined a total of £60,000 and ordered to pay £45,000 costs at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

The case followed a Health & Safety Executive investigation into the death of a man operating a 'stop-go' board during resurfacing work on the Nesscliffe bypass in Shropshire in October 2002.
