Balfour Beatty UK construction chief Nick Pollard steps down

Balfour Beatty has confirmed that Nick Pollard, the head of its UK construction business is leaving the company.

Dean Banks, who is chief operating officer for the regional and engineering services businesses, is expanding his role to become managing director of construction with immediate effect.

A statement from the company said Pollard, who led the UK construction business for two years, was leaving to “pursue opportunities outside Balfour Beatty”.

Banks, who was formerly managing director of Cash Processing Solutions at De La Rue, recently joined Balfour Beatty as chief operating officer.
