Atlas Copco

Intermat Preview

Atlas Copco's ROC F9 CR drill rig covers all three drilling methods; top hammer, down the hole and Coprod.

Compared with the F7 CR, launched at the last Intermat, this new rig offers 35% more power and 31% more air capacity.

The ROC D7 rig which the company plans to show will be equipped with Atlas Copco's new dust suppression agent system. This injects a mixture of water, foaming agent and air into the hole while drilling. The mixture combines with the particles of drill dust to form larger units so the dust is rendered harmless.

The ROC L8 down the hole surface crawler is the largest of the Atlas Copco rigs. It spearheads the company's entry into large-scale operations at high production, hard rock cement and limestone quarries and large open cast mines.
