Asian presence

Contractor Dragages, Asian flagship company of the massive French construction group Bouygues Construction, has been operating in Malaysia for over 25 years. In addition to the Sentral station contract it has also built the raft and substructure for Kuala Lumpur's soaring Petronas Towers.

Dragages has been working more widely in Asia for nearly 100 years and employs around 3,000 staff in the region. Headquartered in Hong Kong, it operates through nine regional offices. Turnover for building and civils works in Asia last year was US $570M.

The Group has introduced innovative construction techniques and equipment to the Asian region, establishing a reputation for quality and efficiency and for design and build knowhow.

Landmark projects from Bouygues Construction include the Stade de France, Paris, the new Sydney airport metro link, the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre extension, Hong Kong Stadium and Singapore's luxury Fullerton Hotel renovation.
