Armitt joins Siemens board

Olympic Delivery Authority chair and former Network Rail chief executive and current John Armitt has joined Siemens Holdings as an advisory board member.

Siemens chief executive for North West Europe, Andreas Goss, said: “John’s extensive experience in the preparations for the Olympics, the rail industry as well as major UK and international infrastructure projects in the building, civil engineering and industrial construction markets will be a valuable asset to our company.”

“I very much look forward to working with John Armitt,” he said.

Siemens is focusing its energies on ‘green infrastructure’ for energy, healthcare, industry and transportation.
