ICE news

The ICE Disciplinary Board, under the powers conferred on it by by-law 38, has ordered that Martyn Peters (M) be reprimanded and fined £1,000 for breach of by-law 35, rules 2 and 8 of the Institution's rules for professional conduct.

Under by-law 35 'members are required to order their conduct so as to uphold the dignity, standing and reputation of the Institution'.

Rules 2 and 8 demand members 'uphold the dignity, respect and trustworthiness of the profession at all times', and that members 'shall not maliciously or recklessly injure or attempt to injure, whether directly or indirectly, the professional reputation, prospects or business of another person'. The particulars of this order are posted at the Institution.
