Anglian Water creates 40 wastewater jobs

Anglian Water is on the hunt for up to 40 new technicians to handle anticipated growth in its wastewater network.

The new staff will make up the teams that care for a complex network of underground pipes and pumps.

Anglian Water director of wastewater operations Paul Gibbs said: “Make no mistake – these are tough jobs that require a stout constitution.

“But they’re highly varied, and very rewarding. We want people to think of these roles as a career, not just a job.

“This is more than just nine-to-five work. The network of pipes that transfer wastewater to our treatment works are the arteries of the region.”
