Amey wins £113M Yorkshire Water contract

Amey has been awarded a £113M contract to provide waste water services for Yorkshire Water until 2020.

The contract starts in September and will mean Amey is responsible for the repair and maintenance of 600 waste water treatment works and 32,000km of sewer.

The company already has a Yorkshire Water framework to deliver non-infrastructure projects.

Yorkshire Water director of service delivery Charlie Haysom said: “This major contract has been designed to deliver the best possible service for our customers at the best price with the highest levels of safety.”
