The Millennium Dome's Mind Zone has been billed as 'having a brain of its own'. Promoters call it 'one of the world's most intelligent buildings' as sensors will monitor load bearing and temperature at different points and analyse the information. The public will be able to see the calculations on screens around the mind zone. Watson Steel, Hypsos ExpoPartner and SP Offshore are among the companies constructing the steel structure, which is clad with glass reinforced plastic panels.
