Aecom wins five year Wessex Water contract

Wessex Water has appointed Aecom to provide design services to its in-house engineering team for the next five years. The contract could be extended to 10 years.

Aecom will work on projects across south west England and projects will include new construction work as well as the refurbishment and maintenance of existing above and below ground structures. The work covers water treatment works, wastewater treatment works, sewage pumping stations and water pipelines.

The two companies already have a history of working toegether and Aecom is currently providing pipeline design engineers for the Corfe Mullen to Salisbury pipeline, a new water supply pipe that will transfer water from Dorset to Salisbury in Wiltshire.
