Aecom promoted 20 consultants to director level in past month

Aecom has promoted 20 consultants to director-level positions within its project and cost management and consulting (PCC) business in the UK over the past month, the firm has revealed.

It said the move was triggered by growth in the UK construction market along with the firm’s desire to invest in these disciplines.

Aecom has made 20 additional director level hires since January. During the past year, its UK consulting team has grown by around 70% at all levels.

“These key hires and promotions will serve to bolster the leadership at Aecom to ensure that our UK team can continue to take the lead on iconic global projects such as the Rio 2016 Olympic Park, Crossrail, the UK Pavilion at next year’s Milan Expo and The Shard at London Bridge as well as important regional projects including the Manchester Town Hall extension, the Library of Birmingham and the new Bristol Arena,” said PCC head of UK regions Laurence Brett. “The new directors will also contribute their expertise to creating innovative thought leadership programmes for our clients that focus on a wide variety of issues including developing connected cities and the prospects for tall buildings.”
