Aecom boosts European economic and social consultancy expertise

Aecom is strengthening its UK & Europe Transportation team with new key hires with economic and social consultancy expertise.

The new appointments include Bernard Feeney, former managing director of Goodbody Economic Consultants and John Finnegan, Goodbody’s former principal consultant.

They will be joined by two other consultants from Goodbody and the new team will operate out of Aecom’s office in Dublin, Ireland.

Aecom Transportation Europe director Paul Cornfoot said: “These appointments will further strengthen Aecom’s economic and social expertise and will enable us to provide a significantly enhanced range of services to clients.

“Throughout Europe there is increasing demand, across both public and private sectors, for the identification of effective policies and programmes and for ensuring value for money. By exploiting synergies between planning, engineering and economics Aecom will be able to offer a real competitive advantage.”
