Adonis sets out junior ministers' duties

Transport secretary Lord Adonis has set out the duties of his new transport ministers.

Adonis hinself takes responsibility for delivering government transport commitments, specifically taking charge of long-term transport strategy, including high speed rail, carbon reduction and security.

Minister of state for transport Sadiq Khan will lead transport business in the House of Commons and take charge of city and regional networks, including London and Crossrail, the environment and climate change and Europe.

Parliamentary under secretary Paul Clark is responsible for international networks, road safety and motoring and freight.

Parliamentary under secretary Chris Mole is responsible for national networks.
