Chartered civil engineer Luis Rico Bensusan has won the prestigious Ingeniero & Joven award for outstanding young engineers in Spain. Awarded by the association of young civil engineers in Granada, it recognises innovative, sustainable and environmentally aware engineers under 35. After graduating from the University of Granada in Spain, Bensusan worked for Severn Trent Water and Halcrow in the UK before taking up his current role as project director with Spanish engineering company Idom. The annual award is open to all professionals working in civil engineering.
