A new report by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation & Development

A new report by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation & Development recommends that dangerous goods being transported by lorry are categorised depending on their danger in the event of a crash. This, the report states, would assist authorities globally to decide whether the goods can be transported safely through tunnels or to make alternative arrangements for their carriage.

JMP Consultants is to carry out a feasibility study into improving transport in north Somerset. The study will review proposals for a link road between the A38 and A370 as well as park and ride and express bus services to improve the accessibility of Bristol International Airport and south Bristol. The study was commissioned by North Somerset Council, the South West Regional Development Agency, Bristol City Council and Bristol International Airport.
