A new plastic composite bridge deck

A new plastic composite bridge deck was lifted into place on West Mill Bridge over the B4508 near Shrivenham in Oxfordshire this week.

Designed by Mouchel the 11m bridge was light enough to be lifted into place in one piece (NCE 6 September 2001). It does not rust and needs no painting.
