A class act

I was interested in a letter (NCE 30 November last year) from H Campbell entitled 'Spreading the word'.

I am an ex-teacher of A level geography with a civil engineer living next door. For the last 12 years he has been giving me his copy of NCE which I have found invaluable and fascinating. The articles are topical, factual, up to date and surprisingly relevant to the A level geography syllabus - river scouring, city regeneration, brownfield sites, new bridges, woods etc, both at home and abroad.

I always kept back copies in the geography room, where they were well used by students for their projects. And even though I am no longer teaching I still enjoy NCE.
