A charity challenge

Entry to the challenge is free to everyone, but all teams that actually make it through to the driving stages will be asked to contribute to an appeal to raise money for the Challenge's official charity SADA - Sophia's Alpine Disabled Adventures - is uniquely matched to the 4x4 Challenge. The charity organises work experience and adventure holidays for disabled children in locations that would not normally be accessible to them.

The charity was set up by Gilly Barlow, who originally bought a ski chalet called 'Sophia' in the French Alps in which to teach disabled kids. She is raising money to build a second adventure base, this time in Canada, which is expected to help to broaden the youngsters' horizons and challenge them to go beyond their perceived capabilities.

For further details of the work carried out by SADA call (01235) 771340. the tuition offer at the Experience.

The firm hopes that by backing the ACO 4x4 Construction Challenge more companies will be convinced that Land Rover is the logical choice for the UK's site vehicles. The challenge is your chance to find out!
