A breath of fresh air

I have recently been looking at new cars and have been astonished to find that it is almost impossible to buy one which will allow me to have the heater on, but still direct cool air onto my face.

When driving on motorways or trunk roads I find this an invaluable aid in keeping me alert, but it is a feature which appears to be disappearing from most modern cars.

I wonder if the research data would allow analysis of the variation in the incidence of dangerous tiredness with season?
