£2.3M Maidenhead water security scheme completed

A 3.6km long water pipeline in Maidenhead has been completed, bringing a £2.3M scheme to secure the town’s water supply to an end.

The new pipeline will help to transfer an extra 2.5M.l every day from Bray Water Treatment Works into the south Maidenhead supply system, and will help meet demand for water both from existing customers, as well as from new homes.

The new water pipeline runs from the junction of the A308M and Windsor Road, before crossing Braywick Park to Green Lane and Oldfield Road, to the junction of the A4 Bridge Road.
