2007 Saltire Society Awards open

Entries are invited for the 27th annual Saltire Society Civil Engineering Awards, to recognise top civils projects in Scotland.
There are categories for: overall project; design; construction; conservation; and environmental sustainability. The final date for entries is noon on Friday May 25th 2007.Previous Award and Commendation winners have included the Falkirk Wheel, the Skye Bridge and the Edinburgh Airport Control Tower.The Saltire Society Civil Engineering Awards are supported by ICE, Association for Consultancy & Engineering, Civil Engineering Contractors Association, the Scottish Environment Protection Agency, Transport Scotland and the Building and Civil Engineering Benefit Schemes. ICE President, Quentin Leiper will present the 2007 Awards in Edinburgh on 31st October.Entry forms are available on the Saltire Society website here.
