$195M design and build contract


UK contractor Costain with China Harbour has won a $195M design and build contract for a breakwater protecting a liquefied natural gas terminal at Baja California, Mexico. The 600m long structure will be built by towing 36m long, 21m deep, 9,000t pre-cast concrete caissons into position.
