£1.5bn north east civils work awarded

NCE stock business

The North East Procurement Organisation has named 23 contractors who have successfully bid for the four-year framework agreement for civil engineering and infrastructure works.

The framework had 15 specialist lots which included general infrastructure, coastal works and drainage, with a total spend of between £900M and £1.5bn.

Successful bidders were: Applebridge, Balfour Beatty, Capita, Carrillion, Clugston, Colas, CR Reynolds, Esh Construction, Eurovia, Farrans, Galliford Try, Graham Construction, Hall Construction, Interserve, JN Bentley, John Sisk, McLaughlin & Harvey, Morgan Sindall, Owen Pugh, Seymour, Southbay, Tarmac, and William & Henry Alexander.
