100 tonnes capacity cranes used for wind generator installations

Wind power generator producer Enercon are using two Liebherr LTR 1100 telescopic crawler cranes for wind generator installations

For the first job the Enercon team needed less than 2½ hours to assemble the central ballast (2 x 7.5 t), the two crawler beams and the 32 t counterweight of the slewing platform. The LTR 1100 handles the complete erection process by itself. Enercon transported the Liebherr telescopic crawler crane, complete with ballast, economically on two low-loaders and the machine’s transportation width with detached crawler beams is 3 metres.
