. . . and Guyana the longest floating bridge


Your article on the repair of the Evergreen Point crossing Seattle claims that at 1.16km it is the world's longest floating bridge. In 1994 I was involved in repair work to the floating bridge across the Demarara River in Guyana. This bridge is nearly 2km long.

For the record it is an Acrow panel bridge supplied and installed by Thos Storey Engineers around 30 years ago.
