I read Euan Allison's articulate letter (NCE last week) about his difficulty in obtaining vacation employment with great sympathy. We will indeed be an unworthy and shortsighted industry if we do not recognise his enthusiasm, initiative, self-motivation, and communication skills, all of which make him readily employable. For the sake of my faith in our industry, I hope Euan gets the sponsorship he deserves.
